Why is Lakora Yoga Different to other memberships?

BUT Why learn from me? Who am I?
Hi, I am Leah from Lakora Yoga and my main purpose is to help busy people live a happier and more fulfilled life. Helping them find time for some self care through yoga not only gives them the health benefits but the mind benefits too.
I have a daughter and I know the struggles with losing yourself and not being able to function properly because your life is now fully dedicated on this little person and time has become a major part of your life and not in a good way.
The thing is when you are healthier in your mind and body, not only can you take care of your family better but you also teach them that looking after yourself is important. You never know who is watching and getting inspired by you ;)
I have never been a flexible person, I never did any sports growing up and until 10 years ago I never did any kind of movement. I started with yoga and noticed I could barely touch my shins let alone my ankles.
I practiced and practiced, not just for the physical benefits but the mental ones as well. I saw such a difference I trained as a yoga teacher and now I am helping others to feel the same. My inflexibility gives me an advantage. I know how you feel, I have to practice consistently to see a difference in my body and I have done a lot of studying and research to help myself and others improve their flexibility as well and in a short amount of time.

What's included inside this yoga membership?
- Live zoom classes (Fridays 9.30am for 30 minutes + Mondays 7.30pm for 30 minutes - UK time)
- Replays of the last 8 classes.
- Monthly Q+A to answer your yoga questions and to help you on your journey
We teach you the correct alignment and give variations for poses (a lot of our students are beginners or have tighter bodies)
We help you figure out where in your body you need to work on to see better mobility and to let your energy flow more freely, because when that happens we can think clearer and improve our lives and our own happiness.

We aim to make our classes accessible to beginners and inflexible people so please don't feel like you are not flexible enough or fit enough for yoga. We give modifications to poses so that you can pick what suits your body on the day.
I have been there! I have been the most inflexible person in the room and I am here to show you that you can improve with practice but you need to stay consistent and that's where the live calls and calendars can do wonders.
My mission is to create healthier & happier people so that it flows out into the world and we can create a better place for all.

Q & A's
What if I join and fine out it's not for me?
We have a 5 day free tr5ial so that you can get a feel for the membership before fully committing. Take this time to explore.
You can cancel at any point and will not be billed for the next month, just go into your account and cancel the subscription.
What if I don't want to join live?
You don't have to join live, the live classes are a bonus to help keep you accountable. You can join with the camera off if you prefer, watch the live on facebook or watch the replay afterwards.
What if I don't have the time?
Time is my enemy and I am learning how to deal with that, so I know how you feel. This is why I have created the classes just 30 minutes long so they are easier to fit in but still long enough to feel like you have had a decent practice.
If you have the kids around, you can still join in. In fact in the summer holidays you will see my daughter and cats running in and interrupting as well. We don't take things to seriously here. Use the time you have and do what you can. We are ALL in the same position.
