Yin is a great practice to do to calm the nervous system, to help calm your mind but to also get deep into tissues to help you gain flexibility.

In yin we hold the poses for around 5 minutes, this helps you to relax into them so you can really let go. It's great to use props but if you don't have yoga blocks or bolsters you can always use pillows and cushions.
